Up until 2016, I worked in digital marketing. My roles varied between social media management, email marketing, blogging and more. But one commonality each role had was the need to create high quality, engaging content. 

After picking up some books on design – ‘The Design of Everyday Things’ (my first design book) I was hooked. I just wanted to design and let my creative side be free. 

Having no specific design experience outside of learning from books, videos, and the internet, I knew what I wanted to do and that it was going to be challenging to establish myself as a designer.

I’ve now been working as a professional designer for over 7 years. I’ve gained a wealth of experience as a UX designer who has operated in multiple sectors, including the medical, construction, aviation and SaaS.
